Ring Sizing

  • Here's a few ways to determine your ring size:

    • Take a piece of string/thread and loop it around your finger, and then measure that thread to obtain the circumference (column A). Check the corresponding Hong Kong ring size in the chart below.

    • Measure the internal diameter (column B) of a ring that fits you and check the corresponding Hong Kong ring size in the chart below.

    • If you know your US ring size (column D) or Japan ring size (column E), identify the corresponding Hong Kong ring size in the chart below.

  • For our beaded rings -> once you've identified your Hong Kong ring size, size it up by 2 or 3 depending on the fit you'd like. You'd need to size up as  the beaded ring is not stretchy and has a rather wide band. E.g. you are a HK size 14 -> click on the HK size 16 or 17 option on the product page.

  • You should also take note of factors that might affect your ring size:

    • Large knuckles: For small fingers with large knuckles, choose the smallest size that can slide over your knuckles and be removed with causing discomfort.

    • Time of day: Fingers tend to measure smaller in the morning and bigger at night.

    • Temperature: Fingers tend to measure smaller when it's cold and bigger in warm weather.

    • Hand: Fingers on your dominant hand tend to be bigger than those on your non-dominant hand.

We advise you to measure your ring size in the middle of the day at room temperature.
